Who we are
ERMAIGE is a Toronto-based enterprise risk and resource intelligence company. ERMAIGE is accountable for personal information under its control and applies privacy practices appropriate to its activities and applicable Canadian privacy law.
Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to provide when you email us, request a paid diagnostic, explore a design partnership or otherwise communicate with ERMAIGE.
- Business contact information, such as your name, title, organization, email address and telephone number.
- Information about the decision, risk scenario, business need or partnership you ask us to discuss.
- Correspondence, meeting notes and preferences required to manage the relationship.
- Limited technical information generated by website hosting and security services, such as request logs, device or browser information, IP address and timestamps.
- If you reach us through a tagged link, such as one of our LinkedIn posts, the campaign label and referring site for that visit. This is held in your browser’s memory for the visit only, is never written to your device, and reaches us only if you choose to send us a request.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and arrange demonstrations or business conversations.
- Evaluate potential customer, design-partner, advisory, research or technology relationships.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and services.
- Maintain business records, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
- Send updates or marketing communications where permitted and provide a means to opt out.
Consent, sharing and service providers
We obtain consent where required and limit collection, use and disclosure to purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate. We do not sell personal information.
We may use carefully selected hosting, communications, productivity, security and professional-service providers. They may process information for ERMAIGE under contractual or legal obligations. Information may be processed outside your province or Canada and may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
Retention and safeguards
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the identified purpose, legal obligations, dispute management and legitimate business records. We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Cookies and website measurement
The ERMAIGE website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising cookies, no behavioural advertising and no cross-site tracking, and stores no identifier that would let us recognize you between visits. Visitor measurement is cookieless and aggregate, and campaign attribution is held in memory for a single visit rather than stored. The only information the site places in your browser is a short-lived technical flag that keeps page navigation from looping, which is needed to deliver the page and identifies no one. Essential hosting and security technologies may process request information needed to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law before they are used.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about the personal information ERMAIGE holds about you, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or challenge our privacy practices. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
