The designed passport links the trigger, source state, scenarios, models, available resources, alternatives, constraints, challenge, approval, execution receipt and observed outcome. Evidence can support integrity and chain of custody; it cannot prove that a poor source was true or that a judgment was correct.

An append-only evidence store may be sufficient where one governed authority is trusted. A private permissioned ledger is a target option where multiple parties require independent assurance. Neither mechanism creates truth from incorrect source data.
